Mad Turks

The Turks are ticked off at celebrated Turk author Orhan Pamuk for mentioning the Armenian massacre of 1915 and the ongoing struggle with the PKK and the Kurds in an interview. Apparently you can't talk about this stuff because he is now facing jail time. If the Turks really want to join the EU this really isn't a good way to go about it.
