Election Watch Part II: Bye-Bye Schroeder (I Hope)

The WaPost weighs in on the "crucial election" in Germany and even they have to side with W once it comes to the slimy Schroeder. They note Schroeder's demagoguery but also notice that it is not working this time - Angie Merkel the CDU/CSU candidate still leads by a dozen points. As the editorial notes it would be best if Ms. Merkel can avoid forming a grand coalition the SDP in order to implement much needed reforms (including a flat tax!). Hopefully the FDP is able to pick up its numbers to form a coalition with the CDU/CSU.
